Before joining our team, Barb was, first, a happy client of The Cat’s Meow. A life-long animal lover and doting cat momma to Caboose, she is one of our receptionists who enjoys sharing her expertise in customer service and greeting our clients with a friendly smile, whether in person or by phone. Empathetic, personable, and cool under pressure, Barb handles stressful situations with a warm smile and compassion.
As our resident artist, Barb works with clients of her own as a brand/web designer/strategist when she’s not at The Cat’s Meow. She graduated from The Art Institute of Dallas with a degree in web design and has almost 20 years of experience of graphic design. She loves combining her years of customer service experience, love for animals, and her passion for art and design.
In her downtime, Barb is a travel and history lover. Along with her soon-to-be husband, Justin, their goal is to see the world, familiarize themselves with many different cultures, their histories, and their food first-hand, and share those experiences with their loved ones. If there are cats to be met along the way, Barb is likely to find them and make quick friends with them. She is a life-long baseball lover and well on her way toward visiting every ballpark in the MLB with her fiance. Be warned, she’s a silly and nerdy person at-heart, and most conversations have a chance to lead to a random song or quote from anything Monty Python, Lord of the Rings, or other pop-culture reference. Barb is usually found playing World of Warcraft or “some other nerdy computer game” when she’s not designing artwork at home.
Barb has been with The Cat's Meow since 2018.
